Truth About Seafood is a long time favorite of the Central Coast. With a mix of modern and classic rock sound, TAS draws a wide range of fans making it a perfect fit for outdoor events, community gatherings and full blown rock shows. The band is Influenced by a variety of groups from the Beatles and Tom Petty to Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers. In the past few years, TAS has played a number of great events including Concerts in the Plaza in San Luis Obispo, which remains a highlight for the band year in and year out. In fact, the band has released a full length DVD and CD that captures two stellar performances from 2009 and 2010 at Concerts in the Plaza (SLO). TAS also plays regular summer engagements across the Central Coast. Recently, the band has been selected to open for the Stone Temple Pilots, Mother Hips, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and others. In 2009, TAS was named one of the top 3 local bands in the New Times' "NEWTIE" awards.
