About

Hi. I’m Paul Irving. I’ve lived on the Central Coast since 1986 and have used Tide Books regularly ever since I moved here.

I log over 1,000 miles each year on Morro Bay alone, whether I’m rowing, sailing, or kayaking. Baywood Park is my home port, where at low tide we have nothing but mud flats. Planning my days around the tides has become second nature, and I feel like I have more fun and know how to stay out of trouble.

I’m all about boating, music, and good living on the Central Coast, and through Big Big SLO and Bayside Press have published hundreds of thousands of music and boating related booklets for the local music industry as well as marine related organizations.
