Petrella, The First Lady of Country Soul, and her band "Mixed Influence" play their blend of R&B, Blues, Country with a Rock edge featuring songs from her 25th year Anniversary CD entitled “Shine on Me” as well as some other tunes including her hit “I Found Somebody” written by Glen Frey (Eagles) and “One" penned by Ed Bruce (Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys) and cover songs such as Etta James “Lovin Arms” and Tony Joe White’s “Ain’t Going Down this Time” as well as original songs written by Petrella including her current release and video “Working in the USA”, a tribute to working men and women which can be seen below.
Petrella and Mixed Influence recently had several very successful shows including a sold out crowd as the opening act for the Great Motown Group The Spinners at the Rose Music Venue in Pasadena, CA, the 805 Stage at the Ventura County Fair, opening for the Delfonics at the Black History Month Parade in Pasadena, opening for A.J. Croce at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills (where Petrellla's performance was called "Amazing" by the Club agent), opening for Billy Vera and The Beater's at the Canyon club, performing at the Side Stage, Levitt Pavilion, Memorial Park, the Second Saturday Series at the Altadena Public Library where Petrella and Mixed Influence was the main act, the Burbank Library, St. Paula Theater Center, and a monthly residency at Chateau Lettau Wine Tasting room Paso Robles where the Owner Stated “Petrella and Mixed Influence always deliver”
